The HereWithYou site is volunteer-driven and self-funded by the HereWithYou Team site's creators. We're also able to grow and thrive thanks to donations from like-minded humans and organizations who share in our values and mission. While we're not a designated 501(c)(3) non-profit, we behave and function like one: any donations go directly into maintaining the site (domain and site maintenance, supporting software, etc.), enhancing its capabilities, and helping it grow to better serve our community. Inspired by our values and mission? We're incredibly thankful and appreciative of any support ❤︎

Mission & Values
✴︎ To promote a space that is kind, respectful, and inclusive—and that recognizes all people are inherently deserving of being treated equally in dignity and rights—regardless of identity, innate characteristics, or beliefs. We seek to foster authentic connection, joy, resilience, and growth through the features available to our HereWithYou community ✴︎
Love & Care ⋯ We act with affection, warmth, and kindness towards ourselves and others. We show up with gentleness and thoughtfulness in our interactions. We are inclusive of all, regardless of how they identify or present in this world.
Equity & Justice ⋯ We choose, above our own potentially conflicting desires, fairness—guided by facts and reason. We recognize that people have different circumstances—then we acknowledge, and adjust imbalances—taking them into consideration to promote what is right. We are rooted in and guided by anti-racist, feminist, and LGBTQ-inclusive perspectives.
Respect ⋯ We act in ways that are polite, considerate, and show positive regard towards ourselves and others. We intentionally avoid words or actions that harass, harm, or promote hate.
Connection ⋯ We choose to genuinely engage in whatever we do, and be fully present with others to promote relationships built on mutual respect, understanding, and acceptance.
Open-mindedness ⋯ We intentionally think things through, and willingly consider other perspectives and opinions that may differ from our own, so that we can better weigh information fairly. We recognize that we are allowed to, and even encouraged to, change our opinions and stances as new information is presented to us—especially when doing so benefits all members of society more equitably.
